Sudah banyak pembelajaran sekarang tidak hanya di dalam kelas mendengarkan penjelasan dari pendidik, namun juga ada di luar kelas. Salah satunya adalah laboratorium. Tempat ini tentu berbeda dengan ruang kelas sehingga perlu adanya pengetahuan tentang itu. Hal yang harus kita pelajari mulai dari alat, teknik, hingga lambang safety.

Tentang teknik dasar praktikum di laboratorium, khususnya di bidang kimia terangkum pada sebuah buku yang berjudul “Teknik Laboratorium Kimia”. Buku yang dikarang oleh Khamidal, M. Si ini menjelaskan mulai dari kegunaan setiap alat yang ada di laboratorium hingga prosedur kerjanya dalam percobaan. Selain itu juga menjalaskan tentang keselamatan kerja di laboratorium yang akan membantu kita meminimalisir kecelakaan kerja praktikum.

Buku ini menampilkan sampul dengan warna menarik dan menonjolkan alat berupa elenmeyer sehingga sangat berkaitn dengan isi yang diangkat. Ukuran huruf pada buku ini pas, tidak membuat mata lelah dan perih. Kertas yang digunakan berupa kertas putih bukan buram sehingga Nampak bersih dan rapi. Penjelasan yang diberikan tidak berlarut-larut. Sayangnya belum seluruh isi didukung oleh gambar. Ada beberapa kata belum terdit dengan baik sehingga mampu membuat pembaca salah paham. Selain itu tidak semua alat laboratorium dibahas.

Namun selebihnya mampu membantu menambah pengetahuan kita tentang laboratorium, terutama tentang alat, prosedur kerja, dan keselamatan kerja.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
